If you want to keep your car performing at its best it is important to ensure it is regularly maintained. We advise for a service scheduled for each part of your classic car including the engine & drive train, suspension and importantly, although often overlooked, the body! We can also recommend on what types of oils and lubricants that should be used. Finally, we can advise regular maintenance intervals depending on vehicle usage, making sure that your car’s performance never suffers.

While we all cherish classic cars there are often some little irritating problems that need to be resolved.

Alternatively, there could be some beneficial improvements that need to be made, to better enhance the vehicle. H-Engineering can help advise on any improvements that you may desire, helping to create your perfect classic car. We can do everything from electronic ignition to exterior and interior lighting to improved starting, economy and performance for your car. Suspension and brake upgrades can be done to improve handling and safety. Modern termination with the period look will undoubtedly improve reliability without any fears of looking out of place.

We also offer brake system rebuilds and upgrades, a speciality service which is particularly suited to the restoration of a classic racing car. We are one of the very few specialists in the Kent area to work on engines with white metal bearings.

Here at H Engineering we are also able to source replacement parts from our own network of suppliers including body panels. We are chassis specialists with vast experience of working on ash framing structures. Our restoration work also extends to vehicle paintwork, from single panels to complete repaint. H Engineering is conversant with all modern and traditional painting systems including bare metal priming and painting over existing materials. Our highly skilled team also specialises in accident damage and car body repairs.

We have in-house machining facilities and the experience to accommodate engine and gearbox rebuilding, along with both welding and fabrication.
